Overview of the Taming Your Anger Program
Taming Your Anger (TYA) is a simple, physiologically based program based on principles of Cognitive Behavioral Psychology to increase Anger Awareness and Behavioral Self Control.
The Introductory TYA workbook is available as a book or as a CD in English and in Spanish.
You can also view Dr. Wolf on DVD Teaching TYA to a group of men in an alcohol/drug rehab program. Dr. Wolf also offers a 90 minute and a three hour introductory course in Los Angeles and via telephone conferencing.
You can participate in a three hour introductory workshop with Dr. Wolf in Los Angeles and via Telephone Teleconferencing.
You can train to become a facilitator of the TYA method with Dr. Wolf via Telephone Tele-conferencing if you would like to learn to teach TYA to others.
An Emotional Intelligence facilitator’s workbook is also available.
Dr. Wolf is also available for individual consultation and further professional development in Los Angeles or via Telephone.
Taming Your Anger Workshops
The 90 minute Introduction to the TYA Workbook will jump start the Taming Your Anger process. Participants will review the workbook and experience the Four Tools: Sound Awareness & Breath Control, STOP-BREATHE-LEAVE,
Identifying Early Warning Signals and Discharge & Release.
The three hour Understanding Anger Workshop will Introduce and review the Emotional Intelligence Component of the TYA Facilitator‚s Training to provide a language for understanding and discussing Anger and the underlying concepts and principles of the Taming Your Anger method.
Taming Your Anger Training for Professional Development & Certification
The Facilitator’s Training will train those who wish to teach TYA to others.
